When a student enrolls in a flight training course the instructor identifies the following items:

  * Cert/Rating/Endorsement sought
  * Category/Class
  * Syllabus used, if any
  * Rate
  * Start Date
  * End Date
  * Completion status; Active, Complete, Dormant

In addition to time you can also assign resources that can be billed to the student, simulator, plane, etc.

When you assign a resource to a student you specify the hour rate they will pay for the resource.
