The system calculates the amount due for each lesson from the rate supplied on the student's profile page as well as the ground/flight time logged on the lesson page.

If the instructor has supplied payment system info (PayPal, Intuit) then there will be widget present to allow the student to make a payment directly. The instructor also can manually input deposits to the student's account.

The page totals the deposits and subtracts out the ground/flight charges to show the current balance in the student's account.
